FLAT HUNTING TIPS

If you€™re like me and thinking of moving out with your mates then getting some good advice and tips is essential. I found it hard work finding a property that was suitable for me and my mates and that was also nice to live in. The following helped me:
1. Make sure you view the flats yourself don€™t go on what your mates say if you haven€™t seen it.
2. Be ready to move in as flats are normally ready to move in and can go off the market very quick too!
3. Get a few mates together as may be cheaper and also more fun! (And maybe more messy!)
4. Run a tap and make sure the hot water works!
5. Look for bad finished or any damages, as you don€™t want to be charged for these at the end of your tenancy. It also indicates the property is not well maintained.
6. Always get a receipt of the money you pay and make sure you only pay the landlord or the letting agent.
7. And lastly, make sure the windows open and that they are not painted shut!
