If you know you require a website but have little experience of the internet, here in a nutshell are the things you require.   DOMAIN NAME. Usually your business name. I.E. www.bertsbootlaces.com or even a generic name I.E. www.bootlaces.com (although these are almost impossible to get hold of now) HOSTING. Basically the space on the internet on which to place your site. Like a billboard for posters. You can pay for this and have your web space exclusively to yourself. Alternatively you can use free web space , however it is likely you will lose total control over your site and will have to include advertising from third parties. WEB SITE DESIGN. The concept and creation of your internet presence, to include all your details, contact numbers, prices, photographs, anything relevant which you wish to include. TIME. As much of yours or ours as you wish. You may leave the whole procedure to us or give us your input with colour schemes, background copy, local information and so on. MONEY. Think about what you want from a website. If you are selling something you may be happy to simply direct clients to your current outlet, maybe you wish to expand on this and sell online? If your site is intended purely to raise awareness of your business or organisations profile you may wish to monitor it with hit counters or guest books with which to give you feedback on how many people view your site and what they think of it.
